1. What kind of personal information do we collect?

When we collect personal information, we do so in line with this Privacy Policy. You don’t have to give us your personal information, but if you don’t, we might not be able to provide you our various services or you might not be able to access certain Site features.

Examples We can’t contact you if we don’t have your contact details. We can’t give you information about various options to manage symptoms if you don’t consent to give us information about your symptoms. We can’t deliver products to you if we don’t know what address you want the product delivered to.

  • We generally collect information from you directly, such as when you enter information in a client application form or subscribe to our mailing list. We might also collect information indirectly, for example from the way you interact with our website.

Depending on how we interact with you, we might collect some of the following information:

  • Social: Gender, social media platform details, associated accounts like Google and information you give us through them; images of you; your preferences and opinions;

Collecting information from third parties

  • If we get personal information about you from a third party, we manage and protect that information as set out in this policy.
  • If you are a third party giving personal info to us about somebody else, you warrant to us you have that person’s consent to give us their personal info.

How do we manage your sensitive information?
Sensitive information receives a higher level of protection under the Australian Privacy Principles.
Sensitive information means information relating to your racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion, trade union or other professional associations or memberships, philosophical beliefs, sexual orientation or practices, criminal records, health information or biometric information.

As we help our clients with physical and emotional symptoms they experience, we may collect health information from you if you are our client.
Examples of health information include: notes of your symptoms or diagnosis, info about a health service you’ve had or will receive, specialist reports and test results, prescriptions, your wishes about future health services, any other personal information about you when a health service provider collects it

  • We only collect and use your health information to provide our services to you in a safe, responsible way.
  • Examples of your health information which we may collect from you include your menopause symptoms, medical history related to menopause, and any treatments or medications you are currently using to manage menopause symptoms
  • If you consent, any of your sensitive or health information we hold is only used and disclosed for the primary purpose for which that info was collected or as required or authorised by law.

  • By giving us your personal information, you consent to us disclosing it outside Australia and acknowledge we aren’t required to ensure overseas recipients manage your personal information in line with AU Privacy Law.
