Mimi Moon Movement Shout! Extended Play (EP)

🙋‍♀️Do you feel like something has changed lately, like you are adrift at sea and just not yourself?

🤦‍♀️Do your find yourself awake at 3am, wired, tired, not sleeping? Is your attempt at sleep hot and uncomfortable, perhaps you have experienced a night sweat or two?

🙍‍♀️Do you feel more anxious than you ever remember, and like your confidence has vanished? Are you questioning yourself, who you thought you were and everything around you, what your purpose is?

🙎‍♀️Do you feel a constant sense of exhaustion, overwhelm, and find yourself avoiding your partner, social situations, family situations, and struggling to get out of bed?

🙋‍♀️Do you feel irritable, enraged, have sudden mood swings, bouts of intense anger and find yourself becoming argumentative with those you love or in your work environment?

🤦‍♀️Do names escape you, did you walk into a room and forget why, or can’t remember something you know you know, but it is right on the tip of your tongue?

🙍‍♀️Do you now experience joint and muscle aches that were not there before and feel like your body is in a constant state of inflammation?

🙎‍♀️Do you feel like your clothes no longer fit, your weight has shifted, and you have become frustrated by your increasing weight despite dieting and exercising?

🙋‍♀️Have you been told that you are depressed, working to hard and stressed at work, too young to be in perimenopause and dismissed by the medical profession?

If you have answered yes to any of the above questions and have been completely blindsided or feel like you have been getting slowly boiled by the symptoms of perimenopause and have been struggling for some time, then you are not alone!

I see you; I feel you; I am you, because I am living through the experience of Perimenopause, just like you, right now!

I had never even heard the term ‘Perimenopause’ until I was at least 2 years into my own personal experience. And because I was not aware of the distinction between Perimenopause and Menopause, I continued to suffer in silence and to be misdiagnosed and because of what I went through I am making sure you do not have to live through the same story.

My personal perimenopause journey inspired me to keep asking questions and to keep learning, so that I could help as many women as possible. I am a Licensed Menopause Champion, (or as I like to call myself “Meno Concierge”) as certified by Menopause Experts Group and I have been a mentor for many years with the Adelaide University.

What does the Shout Extended Play Sessions include?

Three x 60min 1:1 Sessions to get you back on track and finding some flow.

Session 1: same as the Shout 60min Session

This is your opportunity to let it all out with me as deeply as you feel comfortable, the specific challenges, questions, or goals you have about navigating your menopause story.

Let me know if you are looking for strategies to manage your symptoms, if you need advice on lifestyle adjustments, or simply do not know who to see first in terms of specialists. The shout session is really all about letting it all out and is entirely tailored to meet your immediate needs.

I recommend we do this session with movement. The benefits of walking in nature are endless, and it is an essential ingredient in your menopause wellbeing. If you are struggling with movement just let me know and we will do something that best suits your current situation.

Session 2: Movement, meditation, and personal concierge review and presentation of action plan.

After our first session I will assemble all the things we have discussed and present an action plan, for you to implement, that will include:

  • Key symptoms of concern and how to discuss them with your GP, including questions that you can ask, to get you the pharmaceutical support (HRT/ Antidepressants/ Off Label solutions) or referrals you need.
  • Movement practice suggestions, with things you can do at home, and some groups, or studios to connect with.
  • Mindset practice suggestions that you can implement yourself for immediate relief and practitioners to connect with if you need specialised support.
  • Modify practice suggestions, based on the information you have given me to help you get relief from your most pressing symptoms, as well as some practitioners to connect with if you need specialised support.
  • Tailored menopause information, specific to what you are experiencing, so you don’t need to spend hours down the rabbit hole on the internet, or scrolling mindlessly, getting more confused and anxious about what is going on. I will include some general information too, to keep you covered on things that you need to know about for future reference.
  • A short, guided meditation, if you are comfortable, to help you ground, find flow, and to move forward with courage through the next steps of your plan. We could just lie down on our backs and watch the clouds for a few minutes while focusing on your breathing. This is 100% up to you.

I recommend we continue to meet with movement and in nature. The benefits of walking in nature are endless, along with the many benefits of meditation and mindfulness and both are an essential ingredient in your menopause wellbeing. If you are struggling with movement just let me know and we will do something that best suits your current situation.

Session 3: Follow up coaching and cheerleader session.

Following your action plan presentation, we will meet for a third session. This is to touch base and discuss your progress, if you have found any setbacks or would like some tweaks, adjustments, or new referrals to what we thought the first time around.

Just like this phase of life, nothing is permanent and the more we review and modify, the better the outcome will be for you in the end.

Don’t wait, if something is not working, I will be available for a complimentary follow up session of 10mins via phone call, in between each session, and when the EP stops turning!

The women I support are just like you and me. They had tried multiple attempts to get useful information but became overwhelmed and confused and felt unsupported by their GP, and worse, dismissed, and told menopause was “just part of getting older”.

Menopause is a natural phase in every woman’s life cycle, it does mark a stage of the aging process, but it doesn’t need to stop you in your tracks, and you do not need to do it alone.

I look forward to guiding you back to your sparkle and shine, being your personal Meno Concierge and biggest cheerleader, M x.
